Bawdrip in Somerset, driving down to Glastonbury from Scotland for the festival we used to pass a sign to the place, always raised a laugh.

A must-know for any from the South West, can't believe this hasn't been mentioned!

[IMG] [/IMG]

..and one spotted when back in the day of the free life of a young Sky engineer; no luck googling any images I'm afraid, it was a very small lane ๐Ÿ™‚ so this will have to do as evidence:

[IMG] [/IMG]

Incidentally, doing that that job we once visted a Mr Gardener that lived in Uphill; well, it amused us then...

I remember passing this school in Wedmore, Somerset

Think you'll find our very own Chipps was a Sexey's scholar (in Bruton, though, not Wedmore).

Nor can I, cunningly hidden as it was in the OP.

Two areas of moorland called Bog Eggs and Tom Tittiman up on the tops above Hebden Bridge.

Dick Lane in Cowling near Keighley.

Fartown in Huddersfield.

One of my local pubs is the Fighting Cocks. Known locally as the Pugilistic P***ses. Or the Scrapping Dicks.

Not too far from me in Cheshire are the Pee-overs, (spelled Peover). Upper, lower, over and Pee-over Superior. The locals call them 'Peever' but that's just an affectation.

I always cycle through Pratts Bottom on my weekend cycle rides....

And I always chuckle when I am in Cornwall - sitting next to Roughtor on Bodmin is 'Brown Willy'!

And a nice little bridle round the corner from Pratts Bottom is 'Bogey Lane'
