What's does it do ?
Why would you want it to do what it does ?

It measures the amount of current being drawn by a device being charged via a USB cable.

Why? No idea. You can get an app for your phone that tells you the state of the battery (current, voltage, temperature etc). For other devices?

What have you got plugged into it OP?

I think it's quite useful actually. I've got datalogging equipment I sometimes need to use away from mains so have to run it off USB ports and the more channels we use the higher the power draw.

If you look on the bottom of the charger it will tell you the current, voltage and wattage. if it didn't i wouldn't be using it and i would throw it in the bin.

It's a cheap device that's probably not safety tested and might set on fire, but at least you'll know exactly how much power you used in doing so!

You know it uses more power the more channels you use.
But is it useful to know what the power draw actually is ?
