We will be in touch
Just got a phone call back from the alloy wheel repair people to be told the pot hole I hit has already split a 2 month old tyre, buckled the alloy in two places and cracked a spoke beyond repair, so I am now in the position,
a:find a matching alloy to the other 3 of a mk3 golf gti
b:replace all 4 alloys so they match
c:replace with steels but left with 4 tyres which won't fit
Happy days
(note on previous thread not even going to try and get my money from the council)
why wont the tyres fit steel wheels? Get some the right size?... or, you already have some steel wheels??
it's surprising what you can find on ebay. I just recently got an alloy for my subaru legacy which matches the rest of them.
you can also often get partially worn tyres on nearly new alloys for seemingly tiny money, and often about the price of just 4 tyres.
