๐ awesome is not adequate enough to describe his performance.
Wot in??
Hand cycling ๐
He's a top guy Alex
At least he'll have known the circuit a whole lot better than anyone else
He has a great technological mind and is constantly trying new bits and ideas
Look at his hands, could crush a brick with those!
I interviewed him once and he was so cool, about two weeks later I was up at Silverstone and he was practicing with Lotus. As I was talking to some people he walked over shook my hand and greeted me like a life long friend. I was gobsmacked, followed his career ever since. A really good guy.
One of a very small number of people who genuinely deserve the title "sporting hero" imo. If he was British he'd have been knighted by now, and rightly so,
Awesome; never give up.
My mate's training for Rio '16
He's upto 21 miles on his handcycle. Still a bit to go though eh?
really impressed by his interview on the tv. Summed up in a few words what it must be like for many in the Paralympic.
Thinking of riding over to Brands tomorrow to watch. Anyone know whether i need tickets before hand? Might be able to watch them ride along the road. Not entirely sure
Will have to watch this on repeat.
Remember reading about him some time ago, what a champ!
The guy is an absolute legend. Inspirational chap.
Can't really describe how pleased I am that he's won Gold!
Knocked out by this one... What a star.
