I was at the local skate park yesterday and there was a young chap listening to Air on his bluetooth speaker whilst sat chatting up a young lady. I wooed many a woman to this album back in the early 2000s but my current girlfriend has never heard it before. I was shocked, I had it pegged as the ultimate bedroom album. Maybe I need to update my playlist. What do the good folk of STW like to "get down" to?

I wondered if this was a music or holiday thread.

It all seems like harmless fun, until the police start chasing you round the park.

Not going to reveal my particular favourite, that's for me and the wife, but I have heard on a couple of occasions that TV naturalist and anti-hunt campaigner Chris Packham likes to have Jump Around, by House of Pain on to get him into the mood.

This is a romantic one. Good for blowing up the sub on the soundbar

Falling in love with Moon Safari all over again after a decent break brings back some great memories. Always felt that romance in that era was more encapuslated by this (in spirit and title):

Any Al Green compilation will do the trick. Or used to anyway.

I've an album called 'music to watch girls cry too' which usually does the trick.

Thanks for reminding me about Moon Safari, it's on now and I'm already feeling a lot more chilled. Not even got to the end of track 1 either! Gonna be a good morning I feel.

Classic album, with a classic (and common it seems) puropose!

I've even got an Alexa command ("alexa, bed time") which dims the lights in my bedroom and plays Air - Moon Safari!!!

Cheeky ol' DrP!!!

if she's "chott' then Ukranian "Los Colorados" are appropriate. I try to keep up with the drum... problems with the lyrics? Theres always the subtitles.... in Russian...

Ooo… Andy Votel reference… I have that one somewhere. Not listened to it for years (and years and years).
