Hi

I'm after buying a lower end bridge camera, up to around £200
Only thing I'm set on is that it has a proper battery and not AA's

Any advice or ones to avoid?

Thanks
Gary

A while ago my mate bought a Panasonic FZ200 for his wife for £248.

That's a bit over your budget but it is an excellent camera with a lens that holds F2.8 over all of its 24 times zoom.

It has just been replaced with the FZ300 which is nearly twice the price but looks very similar apart from having 4k video.

It is £275 on Amazon at the moment but maybe it will be cheaper on Friday.

His wife is well chuffed with it - using it to take pictures of their recent baby where the f2.8 is really useful - I have a G6 and often put the flash on indoors.
