After seeing another thread on coffee makers and reading the reviews on the Aeropress, I bought one from Play.com for £17.99. Arrived on Thursday so popped into town yesterday and bought some Java in espresso grind from the local coffee specialist stall on the market.
Followed the instructions (simple as) and had a lovely cup of coffee and so simple. Even squeezes out most of the water from the coffee! Wisked up some milk today and made a lovely smooth cappucino this morning. Glad I didn't spend more on a Gaggia or similar. It's only me that drinks coffee in the house, so suits me fine.

I have 29ers and an Aeropress - glad you like the Aeropress - couldn't care less if you don't like my 29ers!

I have a Gaggia too - but that is rubbish for taking to work.

You may want to try the Aeropress with the inverted method > see here

Can't see a good reason to. Not stirring means grounds not properly wet means poor cuppa.

I must admit I do stir and leave for around a minute. Even if you don't invert, putting the plunger in after a stir means it doesn't start to drip through too quickly. Each to their own I suppose, I like the idea of trying different methods though
