We will be in touch
I work along a very nice chap who's in his 60's. He took me to one side today for a chat and to ask my advice. So, with his permission, the senario is as follows:
He rang up his doctor's to make an appointment and when asked by the receptionist what it was about, got told that the doctor would phone him next week. Anyhow, sure enough the doctor called and he asked could he be prescribed Viagra (for the usual reason). He was told no and that he should buy it from the internet (only prescribed for guys who've had some for of medical surgery etc.). Well he's asked me where to buy it from and I've no idea which site or company would be reputable - so any ideas? I'm also finding it a bit strange that he would have been given this advice.
Many thanks as always T
So you can't perform the usual duties and you're using an mature gentleman you work with as a cover...
Shame on you 😈
Are you the only person in the country who's inbox doesn't contain about 735 offers of it every morning, alongside your personal letters from potential Russian Brides?
Lucky old you 😀
Key word being "reputable" - thanks 🙂
I would have thought that a chemist or Boots online ( other online pharmacies are available ) would have been a good starting point to help your "friend" get a starting point.
Your 'friend' can buy it from reputable pharmacists on line or in the shop. Er, i'm told.
I would have thought Lloyds Pharmacy would be a reputable supplier.
So excuse my ignorance but can you buy it without a prescrition? This was one of his questions?
Thanks for all the "friend" input 🙂 but it is genuine LOL
When [s]i[/s] my friend needed some he thought it would be really wise to ask on a bike forum... 😆
but can you buy it without a prescrition?
Yes, DezB told me you can.
I mean - how hard can it be? 🙂
😆

You shouldn't buy goods from hardened criminals.
Anybody can go to their doctor and ask for a private prescription*. The NHS will only pay for medicines that treat a current condition but when I went and asked for Ciproflaxacin (when I was off to windsurf in Cape Verde where tummy bugs are rife) he wrote me a private script.
Oddly the tablets cost less than they would have done with an NHS prescription.
*anyone can ask, doesn't mean the doctor has to write it if he or she's a grumpy git.
Just be sure not to pay by PayPal Gift invade they, erm, don't deliver
Tyger. Is your 'friend' really your own loins?
loins. ??
"The loins (or: lumbus) are the sides between the lower ribs and pelvis, and the lower part of the back."
😆
A chap i know about 35, took some viagra, and ended up with a throbbing erection, that didnt go down, after a few hours it started to hurt, he eventually got admited to hospitial via a and e, and it was a chance he may have needed an amputation due to gangreen setting in.
Priapism
Priapism is painful, and is a medical emergency because the blood stuck in the penis can become thick and form clots. This can damage the blood vessels of the penis and lead to erectile dysfunction (ED). In serious cases the tissues of the penis can die, and the penis may have to be amputated (cut off) so that the tissue death does not spread to the rest of the body
Tell him/yourself to be very careful
Whoooaaaaa
have you seen the way priapism is dealt with ? 😯
basically, stab yer tool many times, then slash it many times down the shaft, get rid of all the clotted blood, then sort of stitch it back together...!!
Holy moses! Nearly £50 for 4 tablets.
(from the lloyds pharmacy link)
Your friend is lying to you either to wind you up or because he is looking for a reputable source without going to the doctor...
(1) I've never known a doctor's receptionist ask what the appointment was for unless I was being particularly demanding that the appointment must be today/tomorrow, and then I usually volunteer the fact that the person involved is "dying".
(2) I doubt many GPs do 'viagra' consultations over the phone. Given that there are a number of clinical and psychological indications I would have thought they would want a face to face chat. I don't know this for sure, but whenever I've spoken to a doc on the phone I've always ended up going to see them - but on quite different topics!
(3) It would be inappropriate advice to get viagra on line. Viagra is a prescription only medicine. Although it is POM some pharmacists are allowed to prescribe it - but they need to see you and do a consultation. There are no UK pharmacies licensed to supply POMs via the Internet without a prescription AFAIK.
You know if you don't have any problems in that area, but you take some anyway. What happens then?
