I need to buy a copy for work and just after some recommendations on where to buy from. A quick google search reveals a huge difference in price so just a bit worried about how legit the cheaper options are?

This is the best price i've found: http://www.horizonsoft.co.uk/c11-illustrator.aspx. Does anyone have any experience of the company?

Cheers

Adobe don't do OEM software so buying Illustrator from any company other than Adobe and their official dealers is likley to be a cracked, illegal version. Depending on what you want to use it for Illustrator may be a bit overkill so I would try Inkscape which is free and does 90% or Corel Draw (much cheaper). Adobe Fireworks is also worth a look (a cross between Photoshop and Illustrator mainly geared towards web design) and is my favorite.

If your work is paying for it just get it from Adobe, that way you know it legit. Fireworks is great, but bear in mind it's pixel based and works only in RGB.
