well, tomorrow is Lent.

I don't normally do things like this (i.e., wait for New Year to have a resolution about doing something, I normally just do it)

But would like to try a healthier lifestyle for 40 days, so currently mulling over what to abstain from, so 2 questions;

1) What should I abstain from
2) What are you going to abstain from 😀

Rather than abstaining (I know Lent's all about this, but..) why not do something positive to make someone's life better, or a community/society. Recycle more, volunteer, use your car less?
Just a thought.

1) alcohol - actually not that hard and a positive change to numerous aspects of your day to day life

2) sleep (baby due!!)

For me I think Alcohol would be the obvious choice. Or maybe TV - to get me off my bum in the evenings but the olympics is on and the 6 nations so can't do that!

I was hoping for another 30 years or so...

but I might become batty and take up religion in desperation 🙁

If you drink moderately anyway, I'm not sure abstaining will improve any aspect of day to day life.

wife suggested going Veggie, even staying off Fish... she says she can't eat fish anymore with it's eyes staring at her.
I might have to pop them out first 😀
