Fisrt snowfall of this autumn/winter. 😥 There seems to be a good covering over 1,800m, winter's on it's way. I hate winter. 😥
It could be a sign of a good winter for the ski station though, which is probably good.

There's about a foot outside my house, but more like a metre or more higher up. Bar Hill is all but cut off now, and there's an avalanche warning in place for the Gog Magogs.
I've just seen the mountain rescue landrovers heading over towards Madingley - I expect some fool has fallen through a cornice up there again.

Thanks - but we should be OK. We're a tough and hardy breed of people here in Cambridgeshire, and well used to survival in the most extreme of conditions.

My ghetto missed the huge disruptive amount of snow last winter. I either want an apocalypticly severe winter, or very mild. None of this wet and windy bollox.
