Stopping people with no lights. Good stuff. 6 of them in the one location. Not needed, surely?

This is the only cycling related action really going on in Bristol from the authorities since we became the "UK's First Cycling City"....

I also saw a couple of bobbies having a work with cyclists jumping the lights by the Arches on Glos Road last month. Just 2 boys in blue on that occassion

Maybe they're a cycle team, or a proactive team, in which case they would all do the same thing together?

sometimes you do just end up as a pack when out on the bikes and meet the others.

sometimes you head out as a pack to an event and pick up things to do on the way there.

i've chinned folk for no lights on the bike ... even a cheapo set from the supermarkets is better than nothing atall - which is so often the case, its a wonder that there isn't a considerably larger amount of folk knocked down these days that seem to actually be.

( yes, i get paid to cycle around on a bike all day ! 😛 )

people who cycle from temple meads station need shooting....i'm going to buy a gun this wk end in fact. i can gurantee at least 3 VERY near misses a week with cyclists pulling out into the middle of the road with no lights whilst i;m trying to turn left. they never see me, in a silver car, with lights and lots of enginey type noises so how the hell do they expect me to see them???!! soooo frustrating

Anyone who cycles without lights in the dark on the road deserves to get knocked off!

Good, would like to see them here. On tuesday I almost flattened someone on an A road dual carrigeway roundabout! Dark, no lights, dark clothing and dark bike. On giving it further consideration, I'm convinced I slammed my foot on the wrong pedal. Darwin and all that....

Richpenny....I can beat that....the other week I was driving the last mile or so through the Elveden to Brandon Road (Thetford Forest) only to see at the last minute, a cyclist as described by you but on the wrong side of the road as well!!!

Life's too good for these people.
