Actually Northumbria was annexed by Scotland in 2006, just after SSUK. We're just waiting for the paperwork to come through about this.

We classed it as Cleveland to claim no responsibility of this rebal town. It is now classed as its own county (borough of middlesborough)
But yes it used to be in Yorkshire and YCC did play there.

no it bloody isn't. It's Tees-side. That's about 40+ miles difference & there's mackem land in between

Having been born in Nornirn, but brought up mostly in Middlesbrough, and chosen to live in Doncaster, I'm a bit miffed. Could be worse though, could be in Goole! When they broke up the failed Humberside project, they tried to palm Goole off onto all the adjoining councils but nobody wanted it. You can't even Google the place as Google just assumes you can't spell Google.
