What’s the best forum for posting this info out to hiker hill walker types?

I found a camera and would like to try and get it back to its owner.

I found it in Upper Teesdale, out on the moor above  the village of Cotherstone. It was in such a place and position that whoever has lost it will certainly remember where they left it. It clearly wasn’t just dropped or mislaid, purposely placed where I found it, in a very remote spot.

There are no photos on the camera at all and I think that it’s been out there a long time, the battery was totally dead. It’s a waterproof roughty toughty type, so it’s still working.

I suspect it was put down for a reason (selfie, battery change, SD card swap?), and then somehow forgotten about as the owner headed off.

If you think it could be yours, tell me where you left it, what make/model, there is also something else unusual about it too.

If you can answer those questions then I’ll get your camera to you!

If it's a blue Panasonic it's not mine, but I might know who the owner is.

"outdoor gear exchange" pages on Facebook must have one of the most far reaching audiences in the outdoors world I reckon. Seen stuff posted there and reunited before now.
