Anyone else get the model "RB 7" ad on their singletrack page?

£32 per month for 25 months!

WTF! Who would pay that!

The video sold it to me. Packed full of belting one-liners!

The controls are "linked to your model via a coded handshake" 😆

My Losi 8ight 2.0 is worth rather more than £800. Didn't take two years to build though!

I have no idea who races 1/7th scale models so it looks like it might be a bit if a white elephant.

That bit about the handshake is kind of true though, it's a 2.4ghz frequency agile system.

I had to google that but it would appear About £400 on Ebay?

Is yours super pimped or something?

2.4ghz frequency agile system.

That's even better! (Not mocking your hobby)

It's "sophisiticated" too. It looks cool, but silly money, how many people will see it through?!

These things often crop up in the new year thinly disguised as magzines. "Build a scale model of a T-Rex / the QE2 / St Paul's Cathedral / Slough in 24 monthly issues! First issue 99p(*)!" I often wonder who buys them, there must be kids up and down the country who are the proud owner of a left arm or the reception desk of a Holiday Inn Express when the mag gets discontinued in March.

(* - subsequent issues £5.99)
