I did that with my Hotwheels in the 70s.
These are more impressive IMO.

And to make it bit more interesting, take the top of the loop out!

The Full 5th gear stunt special about the loop was great!

for about 30 secs until he sold it/resprayed it/upgraded the shocks?
mba covered one for mtb's. Someone went over the bars and put his head through it (it was wooden).
I think the construction of the loop was the most interesting bit really, you KNOW that if you hit the loop at a set speed and steer straight you'll come out of it fine (unlike on a bike etc where body weight shifts etc can screw up the whole thing).
Fifth Gear seems to have picked its game up generally of late. I just hope it doesn't try and go anywhere near the Top Gear concept.
Does anyone know when its repeated?
the MTB one was in MBUK, chris smith was the guy who nailed himself by trying to do it liek you would a backflip and ended up going horribly wrong just after top dead center, dont rememebr him going through the bords though.
IIRC it was John Cowan who did it first on an MTB?
The chap behind Bickers Action is Dave Bickers, top scrambles (motocross now) rider from the 60s and early 70s.
Did you want to know that?

Isn't looping the loop kinda like something they'd do in Top Gear and nothing like you'd do in real life?
