As a detectorist (yes, really) this interests me as we have a long history of customising and subverting the meaning of coins over the centuries. Counter stamping, vandalism, hole punching and many other more inventive methods of subverting a coins intention. I guarantee that I'm not the first to think of this.lol I'll be looking at these Brexit coins with disdain.....and interest when they appear.

Well, he’s always been a conceited liar so I’m sure not all of the 50p’s will end up being recycled... a handful will end up in collectors pockets and no doubt “he” will keep a few for himself and his buddies.
