I've sorted the netting out now so it's clear of the water.
I saw a Heron eating frogs in our pond yesterday - so likely no frogspawn !
About half a mile from Hove beach.
Tuesday 24th February we had spawn near Perth in Scotland. Pond was frozen solid last night......
Got some in my garden stream up in Heptonstall, from last week. I'll get a photo later.
Spawn in my pond as well.

Very impressed with all the frog spawn. I have lots of newts in my pond but have not had any frog spawn since I built the pond 12 years ago. I have a few frogs in the pond every summer but no spawn. Any suggestions as to why?
