I’m after some shortish shorts with a longer liner, preferably to just above the knee. Any ideas? Tia

Do they need to be one piece? I just wear under armour compression shorts then some lightweight decathlon shorts over the top. The under armours come in about 5 different lengths so you can get the perfect fit

2 in 1? I'd rather everyone had their own...

I've got these from Decathlon and they're really comfy and have really usefull pockets. Not strictly running shorts as they're for 'fitness' but I love them for running in.

I've a couple of pairs of these ones from Alpkit and rate them for non-Summer use (they are quite thick). They've lasted pretty well too. Wait until Alpkit have one of their bi-monthly sales mind.

Came here to recommend the decathlon running shorts

They also offer a blue light card discount if you have access to that?

If you're thinking of the Decathlon shorts, make sure you try them on first. The inners on mine were so tight that they'd work their way down my thighs while running and nothing I could do would keep them up. I eventually cut the legs off the inners, just leaving an internal brief instead.

I can recommend the ones on the park run shop... They were a little bit too warm to wear in the summer in my opinion, but they work very well and they have a long liner
