I really give up - the law is an a55 hat.

is it any wonder the roads are so dangerous

edit - I am also an a55 hat for reading another article and then posting this link without reading it.

2 year suspended sentence and banned for 5 years. plus 10 points on his licence when/if he gets his licence back. seems fair to me.

Looks liike he lost his license for 5 years plus a suspended anger. Didi the daily mail froth at the mouth get in the way of reading the story before sharing on a mountain bike forum?

The police quote about it being amazing he didn't die amused me. Hundreds of people ride like that every weekend. It's very rare for someone to die.

What is amazing is he posted the video. He's not the first to be done by his own video evidence.

I 'may' well have done similar speeds when I had my bike, don't think it's uncommon.

He was riding like a tw*t though, seems like a pretty appropriate sentence.

I do find it funny when people get caught through videos, bet he regrets that far more than the riding.

Rode illegally, filmed it and then posted into the public domain - police informed, charged, convicted and now paying for it. No one got hurt.

What's the problem?

Its disappointing, if he had a Hyabusa, he could have done 165................
