I live a 10 minute walk away so went to have a look - the retrobike part was the best bit, some stunning bikes. The pristine white Kona Kilauea, the slightly more modern Pace (RC200?) of the various Paces (Paceii?) and the stunning Yeti FRO or whatever it was were my pics. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't been on retrobike this morning having a look for something pretty to hang on my wall/stand in the corner of my living room.

Lovely bikes, but It makes me sad that they aren’t ridden anymore.

Paces (Paceii?)

just ‘Paces’. A bit like ‘Walkmans’ or ‘Maple Leafs’ I suppose as it is a brand and a contraction of a thing (Pace bikes).

Hey, it’s ‘viruses’ too these days!

after some RC-35 Pace forks I wasn’t tempted by an RC-200 bike. Though they did look interesting with the external butting/machining.

interesting that these things, especially the Fuquays, are effectively museum pieces.
