What a lovely start to the day.

New bike day picture heaven?
That was lovely. Nicely inspiring.
So much skill on show - and I'm not talking about Danny. I always feel I've failed as a rider when I see local kids pulling off amazing wheelies with no effort, one-handed, down the middle of the road, with a can of Redbull/Monster/Strongbow in the other.
👍
It is just practice and not that hard which is why those kids can do it. When I was 14 I wheelied a BMX 3 miles without putting wheel down from skatepark back to BMX race course taking in junctions and all.
Can I wheelie my cross bike now I am 54 and have not bothered wheelieing for 30 years, nope.
Very cool, Wheelie Girl is so amazing
I started Ryan Leech's 30 day wheelie challenge about 30... months ago. Still not got it! Easier to learn at 7 than 57 I guess.
That's wonderful! Love seeing the kids wheelying down the road in groups, winds people up something rotten. 😎
Love that. Great vid.
I'm another that's in awe of the kids that can wheelie forever. I've never been able to do it. 🤬
Oh my word!
Beautiful!
dont normally enjoy vids where the riding is inconceivable - this is even more inconceivable than most but really enjoyed it... music is good too.
Pure joy!!! I want to marry Danny, and Hans!
Lovely feel good stuff. Just what I needed this morning.
What's almost as amazing is all the stuff going on in the background - things like the way the pallets change height in a sort of stop-motion fashion.
Some great editing work.
When I was about nine I learnt to wheelie… about 3 or 4 pedal strokes.
I can still do that and nothing more.
I have wheelie envy.
Where is that amazing, sculpted grassy spot?
at a guess it will be here (Jupiter Artland between Edinburgh and Livingston)
CHARLES JENCKS:CELLS OF LIFE
That's impressive stuff!
I can do about 2 pedal strokes on the back wheel on a good day lol
I need to practice more......
Some good tips here:
So good. Starts and ends at my local skatepark.
You want to wheelie, you got to practice. All the time.
Ali Clarkson with the cargo bike wheelie, brilliant!
I watched a coach at Hillingd on teach a young teen girl to wheelie in 45 mins. Can the coach wheelie, nope...
That was beautiful. Made me grin like a Cheshire cat. Proper OH WOW moment when Hans appeared.
You need to lose the fear of falling of the back, or at least be ready for it, and then get a feel for the balance point of the bike. Once you have those two things a wheelie is pretty easy and you can pedal or coast on that balance point.
The first is a lot easier when you are 10 years old rather than 50 years old...
Awesome, that put a smile on my face this morning!
Yeah that was great - a real feel good vid, what riding bikes is all about!

Kirkie? Not letting myself watch it just now but the start seemed very familiar
Great film, loved the simplicity of it. The tutorial film is good too.
What a fantastic, happy film.
However, as a 50 something man who can't wheelie for toffee, I hate everyone in it... 🤣
I flipping love wheelies. They're difficult enough that they're rewarding, but easy enough (eventually) to do at will. They're not too strenuous or too easy, you don't have to think too hard but you're concentrating enough that you can't be thinking about much else. It's just so zen to be on that balance point. I just love the feeling, and this video totally captures that. Love it!
Loved it.
Glorious. 🙂 I love his videos, there's such happiness in all of them. 🙂

It's Jupiter Artland. The drone shot with Viola Brand is there too. Loving the location spotting in this one
Quite apart from the riding being beyond my ken, that's one of the most creative, original and just plain joyous little MTB films I've seen for ages!
Lovely stuff that is, just lovely.
Had some young lads in a Fiesta shout "do a wheelie mate" to me as I trundled past on my mudguard commuting hybrid ebike tonight. We all laughed!
That is just a delight.
Nice one!
Such a happy video! Wheelies are something I just cant do TBH. I'd like to learn but probs too late now I'm 40
Been wanting to see Viola and Danny in a video together, she has serious skills!
(and is utterly ripped, understandably so)
Awesome video, as always.
Interesting bike spec: Shimano cranks with a SRAM mech (and what looks like a SRAM cassette)
I’d like to learn but probs too late now I’m 40
I've an 8 year old trying very hard to learn at the moment. I've been bemoaning the fact that if i'd not had to go to work throughout lockdown i could have been really good at wheelies by now...
Lovely, warm, feel good video! Just people having fun on bikes and the editting is absolutely on point too.
That was all of the joyful and made a happy man feel very old!
That was great! My boy loved it too, big smile on his face.
I’d like to learn but probs too late now I’m 40
No, but at our ages we have built up epic banks of excuses as to why not, that's probably a bigger issue to overcome!
I enjoyed that. Really joyous
Such a good film, I was smiling right through it.
My weekly ride with mates means I have around 10 miles each way to meet them on flat gravel type tracks. I got my wheelies sorted on those, it’s just programming your body to do the tiny balance adjustments without thinking, just takes time on the bike.
Curse you Danny,
Rode passed a group of schoolkids today and they shout in unison
'Do a Wheelie'
Unfortunately I can't, 🙁
If I did try I would have ended up just like Danny in his video. (and give the audience a good laugh).
That's a rather uplifting little film, I must say 😀
Viola is ace on a bike. Like danny is too obviously but adding the dancy stuff in is next level
Pretty much perfect really. I'll be saving that for days that go to hell and I need something to pick me up.
There's a brief snippet of interview with Danny and some behind the scenes on this week's dirt shed show. Probably a longer interview on Martyn Ashton's podcast. Hopefully there will be a full behind the scenes video coming out
