Been a while since Dan Atherton lined up in a race I think? Will be really good to see him ride. Great line up overall, just wondering what has happened to Brage Vestevik as he is missing from Rampage as well?

He wasn't invited to Rampage, neither was Fairclough apparently

Good lineup, I'm trying to remember which other female riders have tackled it other than Jess?

I swear someone qualified before, but crashed out before their race run, but it looks like I may be making that up.

Yeah, was wondering if he was injured or something hence not being at either. If he isn't it sucks he didn't get the invite for Rampage as it does for Brendan

*applies tin foil headwear*

if those two compete half the comments on PB and VITAL will be about their challenging/mental freeride lines not getting scored as highly as Semenuk et al's flippy spinny stuff.

So maybe their ommision was deliberate...

From the riders socials, Brage is still not 100% fit after Rampage crash last year so sitting the big ones out (and he's a RB athlete so it's not like there's a sponsor issue), Brendan sounds like he's focusing on existing projects (I think there's a Deathgrip 2 or suchlike in the works).  Didn't sound like they'd been dropped in either case.

I reckon you can put that hat out on recycling day.
Brage has a big back of tricks he can reach into, and would be a big crowd pleaser.

One of the problems with Rampage is that the OG established riders all have their lines already there so they can just get on with tidying up and tweaking them whereas the newer younger riders often have to start from scratch which already puts them at a disadvantage.

I can’t comment on whether the judging and scoring is biased or not…

… apart from saying “Norbs was robbed!” 😉

@zerocool The Rampage venue has traditionally been moved every two years to a new area along the ridge. This year could see area.

That's a great line-up. Gonna be a thriller.. Dan Atherton designs the course! How can he be racing it? Guaranteed a win, surely? (Jokin!)
