Don't like hot (very spicey) food so ignoring the recipes with chilli's, but luv crumpets and eggs so the Eggy Crumpets sound delicious, a must try this winter (we only have crumpets in the winter months in our house for some reason that I don't understand!)
@Charlie, one of my Spanish friends in the village where I live (Velez Blanco (Andalusia) introduced me to tabasco in a bottle of Mahou last summer. Rather nice it is too, warming up nicely as you finish the bottle. Goes well with a beef Empanadilla tapa.
@gary biles ... just leave the chilli out. It all works well without the spice. I suggest the Cajun seasoning from Schwartz on the glass rim as it is super bug in flavour, low on heat. It would also be good in the eggs and beans.
I sometimes make the crumpets super herby. Just a little pepper and lots of dried Italian style herbs.
@david barrett .Is that just tabasco, a few drops into a beer? I will try that whilst camping this weekend.
One magazine issue, I think we should just do cocktails... let the ST staff know they should probably not drive to work that day. Hand out life jackets for the walk home along the canal.
Yeh Charlie just a few drops of Tabasco Es bueno.
Cocktails are good dude
Cocktails for sure, Charlie! Let's get mixing! 😉
