I think it would a good feature to look at the other side of the custom bike world from the buyers perspective - we generally only hear about the makers side of things.
That looks tricky to build!
I hate bendy bikes, they really do look like spaghetti to me.
I like it. I hate my self for liking it, but I like it.
I have had 3 custom bikes and liked none of them.
I got a custom frame made… I wanted to love it and tried very hard to love it but it just didn’t do what I had wanted it to do. It was my fault as I didn’t pin down what I wanted when talking to the builder from the start.
If I was going to gat a custom bike again I’d spend more time to work out what I want then discuss it in detail to make sure the builder understood what I wanted and we agreed on how to achieve it. It’s much easier to move on an off the peg bike than it is your customs dream bike that didn’t go how you wanted it.
