[Closed] Yr Helfa Bunkhouse Snowdonia ,or Bens Bunkhouse reviews , anyone recommend them

Not stayed there, but met the bloke who runs bens bunkhouse a few years ago when he was doing it up and he's a great guy, fantastic location close to the pub , and other people I've recommended it to since have said it was perfect.

I stayed at Yr Helfa a few years ago. Stunning location but no vehicle access so you have to park up and walk across the fields.

Bens is great. Very chilled out, walkable to the vaynoll arms in Nantperris or the Sh1tes in Llanberris (other pubs may be available). If there's a small group of you, consider asking to hire the loft in the new bit. Good kitchen and showers. Bike store is the drying room attached to the house. Log burner eats about 30kg a night and is a pig to start. it'll have burnt through whatever you load it with before you get back from the pub.

Ben's bunkhouse is really good - well worth it.

When are you planning this for? There'll be a new hostel in Dinorwig in the spring - looks like it'll be great too.
