I concede that I may be speaking completely out of turn, but I've just seen two young teenage lads riding bikes around Sale town centre. One of the bikes looked very out of place.
The bike in question was a very clean Green Singlespeed Spesh Tri-Cross with cross brake levers on the bars.
His mate was riding a fairly low-end Trek mtb which I'd suggest was more typical.
SS CX bikes may be all the rage for potentially truanting teenagers to mooch about on and race at weekends, but it's the first I've seen....
