Christ that was close. I'm assuming tree was rotten and they weren't expecting it to fall suddenly - but even so, working like that without close the road to traffic is pretty shocking.

Saw that somewhere else and the comments were shocking, many about how it was a shame the tree didn't hit the cyclist or if they'd been doing it they'd have killed them. I don't get the outright hatred some people have just because someone is riding a bike.
