as title, is it possible to take the reach adjust dials from my xt, and stick them on some zee levers. And swap in opposite direction.

comparing my Deore and XT levers.. it may be possible.. but id say probably not.. as they look like the mount inside the lever is different.
Its fairly easy to make an adjuster for the Zee's though..

Basically...
I unscrewed the adjuster from the lever..
a little circlip stops it from coming out fully but they both broke pretty easily in my levers as i unscrewed them.. ( It may be possible to get them out without breaking them..)
Then i made some adjusters by cutting some little rectangles of Aluminium..
drilled a slightly too small hole through the middle..
cut down a hex key that fits the adjuster..
tapped the hex key through the slightly too small hole so it stays in place..
then epoxied the hex key into the adjuster..
gave it a clean up and polish..
re-assembled everything..
job done.
they've been fine for a year of riding now. 🙂
Looking at the tech document they look significantly different. And the XT looks like the adjuster goes all the way through the lever rather than just screwing in.
You could buy a new lever assembly but probably cheaper to just buy a whole new XT or Saint Lever

don't you just fit and forget? can't remember the last time I adjusted my brake levers
bite point does change occasionally, and i want to be able to change it fast if im about to do a race run.. probs should have forked out extra for saint.
