Need to get this done tomorrow afternoon in readiness for the Earlstoke 12 on Saturday, Question is, are there any on line guides to doing it?

Thanks

I've just done it tonight on my new deore brakes (same chassis as xt).

Take out pads

2 pumps on lever to push out caliper cylinders(so when you push them back at the end, any air is pushed out into cylinder)

Remove hose

Keep hose upright

Cut hose

Fit insert and olive

Refit hose

Push back caliper cylinders

Refit pads

Pump brakes

Ride bike :-)))

Ideally, you'll also want to purge the air from the reservoir after doing it, otherwise you could have a "lever to the bar" moment if the bike's upside down at any point. Probably worth doing to both of them, you'll be surprised how much air is left from the factory bleed.
