[Closed] Shimano freehub instalation problem-any ideas?

I've almost managed to instal a new Shimano freehub on my bike but have a small problem. The dustcap on the right hand side/outboard side of the freehub seems to be sitting to high up in the freehub body. This means that the space for the bearings that the cone contacts is too big, the bearings can move horizontally and the cone doesn't seem to sit properly.

Can the dust cap be moved further inside the freehub body? Do I need bigger bearings, is the freemhub I have defective?

I used the cone bearings from the old free hub as the new one didn't come with any but I sure the old and new ones are identical. Please help!
