[Closed] XT M775 160mm disc brake on a slot dropout Inbred 26er

Anyone running an XT M775 160mm disc on the back of their slot dropout Inbred 26er?

I got some older-style Hope mono minis off a mate to put on my new SS Inbred, and with a 145mm disc / No.5 caliper on the rear the caliper body fouled the slot disc mounts and didn't fit. Also had a 185mm disc to hand so got a +40mm adaptor and that didn't fit either! Grrrr.... Called it a day before I went searching for a larger size caliper half as the Hope's were on successful-fit-or-return with said mate.

So, before I take advantage of the silly Ribble prices for XT brakes, can anyone confirm they've got them running on a slot disc mount Inbred with no issues? I've already got a choice of 160 rotors waiting to go.

I have Post Mount M765's with a 160mm rotor/adaptor on mine, wheel axle is about in the middle of the dropout.

If the wheel is much further back than the middle of the dropout you may end up having to use a 160mm adaptor and a 180mm rotor as the IS mounts don't have as much fore/aft movement as the dropout itself and I found the caliper didn't fit with a 140mm adaptor as it fouled the chainstay.
