I may have a few customers i can forward you on to if you need?
Definately worth considering, Have you read the review of the VF2 on the front page, I believe they are very similar bikes, I'm sure Si will correct me if I'm wrong. I haven't ridden the XCL but if it's half as good as the VF2 then it will be great.
Have a look on eBay too there's a couple for sale on there.

I have an XCL and have done for nearly a year. It's the best full suspension trail bike I've owned so far and is up there with my top three bikes, I've owened. The XCL has been to many different trails both natural and man-made.
The backend is stiff and tracks berms brilliantly and with the stiff back end when you power out the corner the acceleration is awesome. I rode Spooky Wood at GT on Saturday and at the end of each section I was just grinning it was so much fun with so much grip the speed on the corners and the control through singletrack just great. What's more I still love it a year on.
I initally had the RP23 and later swapped to the CCDB which in my opinon suits the bike more and really pushed it to another level of grip and control. I am no jump kid but the XCL in the air is neutral and controlled feels good. Overall plenty of trail feedback. I run it with Lyricks up front.
Like many when I bought the XCL hadn't heard much of Chumba and having owned some of the more common full suss's like a couple or Orange 5's and a Pitch. I wanted to try something that was little more unique the build quality is excellent and the frameset dependable, I've not been disappointed.
