I'm after another pair of XC biased, read lightweight & close fitting shorts to wear over my bibs during the summer.

I've worn through the bum bit of my LG ones from Evans, they were ideal, lightweight, close fitting and with a zipped pocket for my phone.

What else is out there as they don't seem to do them at the moment. Looked at some kalf ones but they didn't have a zipped pocket.

I've seen the Endura MTR on offer, but I fear they may be a bit thick.

Mavic shorts are nice and often shaped better for XC.

Are the mtr ones the xc race focussed ones the designed with Oli Beckingsdale? If so I have a pair and they are good. Pretty light and fit well

I use have a pair of Ion Paze shorts which are designed for use over bib shorts. Very thin, I use then for CX / Gravel riding.
