Got a new x fusion HiLo and straight out the box there's 2-3mm fore aft play.
Is this normal? Had a gravity dropper that did this and never got worse and wasn't really noticeable when riding.

It was in mine, however, it was noticeably easier to compress by pushing on the nose of the saddle compared to the rear, to the point it would grind when lowered if you were sat on the back of the saddle.
it didn't last long, sent it back for a full refund and bought a Command Post.
I've had one for a couple of years - always had a little play but never been detrimental to it workinng and it's never got worse...maybe a daft question, but have you set up the pressure properly? Makes a difference to how it operates...
