I was out walking 4 dogs at 12:30pm this afternoon. I was 100m away from my car and a mountain biker with head phones on came out behind Beaucastle, turned left onto the fire road heading towards the Secret Garden trail. The mountain biker did not stop as I was trying to get the dogs on the lead. Instead he proceeded to ride through and then chase one of the dogs down the fire road towards the start of Secret Garden. I lost sight of him and the dog.
Result, one dog missing.
And before you all start saying this was my fault - I walk here purposely because it is so quiet. It is also a non mountain biking area in the English Nature Reserve so I am fairly upset at the moment. 😥
Here is a pic of the dog - he is about 14 months old, not socialised but has a lovely nature. No one will be able to catch him except myself and one other person. He has a black harness on. If anyone does catch a glimpse of him can you please email me (details in profile). Many thanks.
