Simple question but I never seem to get this right. I have been sent a .gpx file, which folder do I put it in on the Edge if I want to ride it? 😳

I have found the garmin .crs files to work better
I've had some probs navigating from gpx
routes from garmin connect have worked perfectly every time
You need to put the file in the 'courses' folder. CRS files work much better than GPX files.
If you do google search on 'garmin 705 guide for dummies' there is a good website.
Also, you can use bikehike.com to convert your file to CRS.
I used bikehike, converted to .tcx and downloaded straight to the Garmin. It recognised it immediately and gave me the option of 'Do the course' which the .gpx file didn't.
