As used on the Traildogs Im ordering soon.
Basically spec says "UST compliant bead hooks border a tape and sealant-driven inner rim profile, providing standards-based, repeated tubeless consistency."
because they have spoke holes ??why do they need rim tape if no spoke holes
UST bead not whole rim bed.
There will be spoke holes.
The frequency rims I have are described the same way and they have spoke holes on the inside
Yep - spoke holes need to be sealed with tape. Same as Stans or any other side for the Mavic ones that us those PITA double nipple arrangement things.
Ah, that explains it then.
To be honest, what had me perplexed was the picture of the i25 rims on JRA as the rims in the pic dont have spoke holes.
Mystery solved, thanks as always guys!
Going tubeless for first time soon..... shhhhh... dont tell anyone Im THAT late to the party. ๐
I run mavic ksyrium tubeless without tape. No spoke holes.
