Not icy, no snow, no rain. Not muddy and no sign of diesel, but as slippery as.

Just seen an old fella down on a local lane, poor bugger was out for the count with a smacked and bleeding head.
Went back home after the ambulance came.
Both wheels went at the same time on the way back?

Turbos in front of the telly or off road for a bit, or what tyres?

I was going to go out on my TCX today, but after looking at the roads, of which my rides are usually 50% of, and then my 35c nobbly tyres. I decided against it.

I really need to get back into running for days like this.

My local road / cx loop around Mynydd y Gwair (Swansea) yesterday was fine on all the s.facing steep ups but the n.facing steep downs were all sheet and black ice ๐Ÿ˜ฏ and had to be walked / slithered down. Back to the mtb.

Just heard that three of my mates have just gone down the road with two ending up in a&e on some random slipperiness.

I did two hours on the turbo yesterday. By midway, smashing my face into the icy tarmac seemed a better option.
