IIRC TF don't touch ETAs so that leaves Windwave and ...?

Anyone had any issues etc?

I used them last year for a warranty issue on my 55 ATA, was expecting them to be away weeks and expected the worst.

What I actually got was great speedy service, and was very impressed. I shipped the forks on the Monday, on Tuesday got a call from Windwave to discuss the work as I had requested, on Wednesday I had the forks back and fitted to the bike by lunchtime.

Because of service like this I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, in fact if I could afford some of the new 888 for the DH bike I'd buy in a shot.

Hope this helps.

Never had any work done by them, but they were really helpfull over the phone.

'zocchi's are simple things, have you considdered doing them yourself?

As long as you clean them thoroughly before you start and work ona clean workbench, all you need is a set of seals, some fork oil (of the right weight), allen keys and a socket set, a few offcuts of various diameter plastic water pipe help with seating the seals.

Sounds good so far.

Spoon, I don't trust myself when messing with 'compressiony' type things. If I had the right kit (and spares) and watched someone do it once, then I'd probably be okay. But following a manual I know I'm bound to mess it up ... and subsequently have an exploding set of forks somewhere in the outback ๐Ÿ™‚

and yeah you're right, TF won't touch them anyway.

It's ATA (or was it TST?) that TF wont touch, ETA is fine.

Loco's site says he does Marzocchi, except ATA, but no mention on ETA.

Yep, you're right - it's ATA that TF won't touch, not ETA. Well spotted that Spoon. They've always done the business on my shocks so I'll give a buzz.

Haven't heard of Loco. Certainly seem cheap, but not sure I'd go with them until I hear positive WOM.

Cheers

spacemonkey: seriously, do a search on the forum for locotuning ๐Ÿ˜‰

Only downside is his waiting list last I heard.

I think you're onto something there Gary. Some good feedback on here so I'll check lead times. Seems like he aims for a 24hr turnaround where possible too. Cheers.

Loco has posted on this forum a bit and appears to talk a good deal of sense. A few folk from here have had work done by him with no complaints that I have heard

For what it's worth I've actually used him too, had a set of Float RLs that were knocking something awful and he sorted them right out and tuned them to my weight and intended use while he was at it!
