I was looking to buy a 2018 model, but during my searching I found lots of unsold and discounted 2017 models. Any reason for this? Anything I should know?

Just had a quick glance at the 2018 spec and as far as I can tell its identical to my 2017 model...except on price.

And is the 2017 model satisfying your needs?

I was put off buying a 2017 due to the low price of 2016 models.

Lots of retailers shifting old stock to make way for new.
Just bought a 2017 RS with £600 off.
The only difference I can see between paying £2400 for '17 and £3150 for '18 is the cranks having Turbine on the arm outers rather than RaceFace...it's a superb bike whichever one you get.

Hi rascal. Where did you get it for £2400?

Cycle Gear in Halifax. Drove 100 miles each way to get it. Is a large if that's relevant.
CycleSurgery had them at that price but they'd gone for that price instantly.
This was nearly 4 weeks ago so I would have thought a few would be selling at that sort of price...

Anlegov - Winstanleys were prepared to match that price so give them a go.
Superb bike - you won't regret it 😀

The 2018's will probably have metric shocks.

Are metric shocks something I should fear or embrace?
