So £350 for that lot is fair enough imo.

What IS relevant is how much you get offered.

If you wanna sell it, one word - eBay!

When I sold my 04 Stumpy FSR frame I only wanted £200 for it. I advertised it for £225 on here a fair bit, and the best offer I got was about £140.

So I stuck it on eBay and got £352! I was almost embarrased by the selling price when the guy came round to pick it up, so I spent ages telling him how to set it up and fed him tea and bisquits. He was chuffed as fek! 🙂

STW users always seems to value things lower than other forums & ebay IME. So I'd say try elsewhere. I'd say it's well worth £350 & would be amazed if it didn't go for that if not more on ebay.

"buzz, that's just a ****off price"

Why on Earth would they advertise something that they don't want to sell??

If I actually needed a replacement frame, it would actually, and in reality cost me £1000. A barely ridden TranceX frame at £300 is a snip.

Depends how impatient the seller is.

Except you'd buy something different because it is in no way, shape or form worth £1K

And there is the crux of it. This frame isn't selling not because its a bad deal because it clearly isn't but because nobody on here wants a Large Giant Trance at the moment.

As the seller you can wait a couple of weeks and re list it, lower the price until it is such a steal that someone who doesn't even want a Large Giant Trance buys it and builds it because it is too good a deal not to buy or ebay to to a much much wider customer base but have to pay a percentage of the final price to ebay.

Sprog James is looking for one of these but a small and we reckon thats about right on price, agree with above if in excellent nick could reach more else where (evil bay). Wanted as an alround everything bike, he has tried quite a few and thinks its a great mix of all ability and cost- ideally he would have a Blur 4X but that would need the gods to intervene!

I think it will sell just needs time. In the past we have bought and sold quite a few bikes/frame, some have taken ages to get any interest and then its a competition. Good luck and hang in there....

Hmmm I'd sell my medium Blur4x IF the price was right.

****ing no chance at silly-secondhand prices.

In Cyclesurgery London? I'm not selling it cheap though- it'd be circa40% off the RRP of the anodised Rp23-version. I'd need to put the money towards a LT2.

/forgot to read page 2 before writing this/

Not in the advert I can find.

That adds up to £400 all in.

As I said frame only from the big boys is very expensive compared to full bikes. They aren't worth that but they don't want to sell you just the frame.

Your best bet seems to be now ebay. I've been laughing my socks off on there recently when some of the odd items I'm looking for are going for 10% less than I can buy in some online retailers. Oh and it isn't Giant frames BTW ;0)

Dunno really, but they clearly do. Maybe it makes the built bikes (99% of their business) look well priced ?

Aye, or you'd get it on warranty maybe (if only you'd bought it new). Me, I'd go to Pauls or somewhere and get a trance X4 for 900 quid or so, fully built
