All the threads I'm opening just now are going to a Page not Found pic of Chipps with some beer - if I reload the page, it fails and then I reload again and it works...
At a complete guess based on no real evidence, I'd suggest there is some background shenanigans/improvements going on and it is having a wee impact on the forum working properly.

It was a glitch in the matrix - it's all back now.
It hasn't been, it's broken again.

I reported that to Tech@ and they let me know some upgrades are happening in the background as Drac says - likely to occur again between 1:30-2pm.

Surely that's a tactical own goal, what with the best IT brains in the UK wasting their time on STW, you wouldn't want to take this forum down and force them to do their proper jobs of managing business-critical IT systems for the great and good....
