Snow? In May? Ridiculous...
We rode High Cup Nick and Cross Fell on saturday. By the time we got to the top (after chips and beer in the Stag in Dufton) a lot of snow had gone, but there was still a bit, and a couple of sets of tyre tracks too.
Cold though and the easterly wind made the descent to Garrigill not as enjoyable as it can be. Views to the west were brilliant.
