I'm told of a man running a small shed-based business upgrading light systems and making his own - does anybody have any information on this mysterious fella please?

Thanks - I've just emailed him but I didn't think he would do other brand lights. We shall see! Is there somebody else or is Mr Trout the one and only?

Haha - did you do it as a DIY? I've done a fair bit of 'technical' jobs, but never electronics... I may have a go myself but I'll need to do a lot of reading!

the Hopes are probably one of the worst lights I have tried to upgrade.
no room inside for a driver and the LEDs are part of an integrated driver setup
I have done a hope 4 and it took all day
and had a look at a hope one and threw the towel in
better to sell it off and get something better if you want to upgrade .
Trout, while you're here, have you ever tried to upgrade an L&M Stella 180?
