Anyone run a set of these for any length of time? If so, how'd you find them, any issues?

Looking at picking up a second hand set of 2008 Magic 80's, just wondering what they're like?

They're not exactly a cheap fork new, so I'd expect they're performance would be pretty good?

i like mine, they are not the stiffest 29er fork i have but the damping platform works well, performance wise they are fine, runing for a cple of years now albeit not used a lot due to large amount of bikes....would i buy a pair new???no...... way to expensive

cheers Swampi. I'll be getting them pretty cheap so I reckon they're worth a punt, they're 2008 models I think (with silver stanchions instead of black?).

Check out the service intervals.

Why, are they good or bad?

i had a pair of the 29r ones.
too flimsy for a long legged fork
and i had to run way too much air in them to stop them diving under braking, hence not enough travel on hand.
