I'm passing by Keswick on the way home in a few weeks time.
Thought I'd pop into Whinlatter and ride the Altura Trail.
How long does either / both loops take ?
I'll be solo at a reasonably quick pace.

TIA

Not long, they're only about 8 miles each so 40-60 minutes each? good fun though!

Both are pretty quick, about 40 mins or so for each for me IIRC, and I'm not that fast. The blue route is worth a go too imo, some big berms and easy jumps - probably another 20-30 minutes?

I ride both loops in 1hr-10 mins (start and finish at the North loop gate) and then finish with the first half of the blue on the way home.(I ride from home in Keswick and back).

let me know when as i might be able to meet up!

As mentioned above for the timings. As to which to do - the south red is a lot flowier and more weather resistant than the north which is likely to be a bit of a boggy, rutted mess in places following any rain.

Personally I'd do the south red and then the blue with the north red done last if you've got the time and inclination...
