[Closed] Which lights for those who don't want to build their own?

I currently ride with a couple of Romisen RC-F4 (CREE CR123) torches zip tied to my helmet. They give about 1 1/2 hours riding each. Not great in terms of beam spread etc but they have been okay for the last couple of winters.

I am thinking of treating myself to something new as my wife has purloined the torches for general household use.

I prefer helmet lights to bar lights so light lights are preferable.

What is the best thing out there for <£100, that can be strapped to the helmet and/or bars, lasts at least 2 hours and is nice and bright?

Is it best bought in the UK or US or is there no difference?

So no-one on here actually buys lights? You all get Trout to build them for you?

Ask Trout if he'll sell you a Hammond box light.

Looks to me as if it'll suit your requirement for being cheap and helmet mount

I've got the ubiquitous Magicshine and think it's a fantastic bit of kit, totally reliable thus far and plenty of output.
