After dropping the chain 3 times on a short blast last night, it's time to finally invest in a chain device ...
I want to keep the 3 x 10 confuguration on a Zesty & don't know much about where to start.
Can anyone advise?

Check you chain length first. Could be too long. Also, in the rough stuff, I try to use the big ring and half way up the block to keep the chain tension higher.
Could also be that your front mech needs setting up properly. It might be too high on the seat tube.
