Just got my insurance replacement through for my Patriot that was nicked in August and since then i've been made redundant and we're selling up and emigrating to Oz in the new year so I need the cash not a (very beautiful) bike. So the question is - is there any point in trying to sell a £2800 bike (still with tags and wrapping) on here? It's a large Lapierre Zesty 514 if anyone's interested 😉
am I the only one thinking that thinking a similar amount of typing as above under the "classified" section, would answer the OP's question one way or t'other?

Good point - It was a genuine question though. How many new/nearly new bikes are sold on here? In my experience you usually see used whole bikes (which rarely sell) that end up bring split. Would I be better on bikeradar or just accept the charges and stick it on ebay?
